2010 FUNDRAISING BALL

A fundraising ball in aid of PACHE is being held at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Pointe-Claire on Saturday 25th September. This promises to be a fantastic event and a great way to support the education of children living in Upper Egypt rural communities.

Welcome

In 2009, Les Partenaires de l'Association de la Haute Egypte (PACHE) celebrated 40 years of commitment and support to its partner AUEED (Association of Upper Egypt for the Education and Development).

PACHE was founded in 1969 by Quebec citizens of Egyptian origins to answer the call of AUEED which, for over 69 years, has been devoted to empower underprivileged communities in Upper Egypt, through education and development programs.

PACHE is a registered charity, non-partisan and secular organization . We help our local partner AUEED, by contributing to the financing of projects susceptible to offer quality education at the primary and preparatory level, as well as the elimination of illiteracy.

Vision

To offer primary and elementary education programs to all the young "Fellahs" of Upper-Egypt.

Mission

PACHE’s mission is to financially and morally help non profit organizations that provide quality education programs particularly AUEED.

The focus of PACHE activities are in Upper Egypt where we work in partnership with AUEED to empower lpcal communities; targeting the poorest of the poor through education and development programs with a special focus on children, women and youth.

Values and Objectives

PACHE's actions are guided by solidarity, partnership and transparency values. To that effect, PACHE has adopted a Donor's Bill of Rights.

Objectives

In all our projects, we support the following Millenium Development Goals:

Achieve universal primary education;

Promote gender equality and empower women;

Reduce child mortality; and

Improve maternal health.

2010 Annual General Assembly

On June 4, 2010 the members attending our annual general assembly approved the 2009 audited financial statements, appointed Sauro-Lalla Lapolla as our auditors for 2010 and renewed Joseph Baladi and Aïda Naguib mandate. (Read more...)

Galabeya Party
